Potatos rule in Greeley

Saturday, September 10, 2011, Greeley’s Centennial Park will be center of the potato universe. No, the President won’t actually be there in person, but he does send his best wishes to the friends of the Greeley museums, who sponsor this annual event as a major fund raiser. This is an affordable festival the whole family will enjoy. As many as three dozen demonstrators will be on hand to inform and show off their “old-time” skills in both the daily tasks of early Greeley settlers and the wonderful crafts they enjoyed. All buildings in the park will be open for the day for touring. Come on out and connect with your past.

Admission is $6.00 for adults and kids 3-11 are $4. You have looked for it and this is it! Good clean family fun at a low price. For more information about Potato Day or other museum programs call 350-9220.
