There is exhausting news coverage about which quarterback the Denver Broncos should be playing. Now there is even a fan with a growing following of his own who are intent on buying billboard advertising to encourage the Broncos to substitute their player choice for the current starter. How stupid is that?
The business of professional football is to make enough money to stay in business. In order to achieve their goal, the team has to offer for sale a product that attracts paying customers. Monday night the stadium was full. The receipts for that one game totaled in the millions of dollars. Clearly, the business decisions Broncos’ management made in offering their product for sale Monday night were absolutely the right decisions. Even coach Fox summarized the situation well when he pointed out to reporters the stadium seats are selling.
If Broncos fans don’t want to watch the team lose week after week again this season, they can stop buying the product. This is not a government mandated purchase for which citizens can be imprisoned for not supporting it – like health insurance soon will be. When the money stops flowing into the Broncos bank accounts, the owners will do what they feel they can to improve sales. Winning is not necessary. The team only won about one out of every three games last year. They haven’t won any so far this year. Yet the fans buy out the stadium, again and again. Economically, this team is winning.
The fact that people do not understand this is indication of a much more important problem than who takes the field for a sports team. Public schools are failing our country with their line up of anti-capitalism, anti-business lesson plans that fail to teach the most important basics of business or economics. These are the key players for the starting team in a free society.
One example of the success of public education to dumb down our population is the fan-like support for the losing line up of the current federal administration. We have a tax cheater calling the plays for the IRS and a “recovering” drug addict who is an openly homosexual pedophile appointed as czar of safe and drug free schools. If you even imagine the huddles in the White House you probably need time out for a shower.
If the play calling by the Marxist/Muslims team captained by Obama is to be understood and avoided when the United States collapses and new independent countries are formed, citizens should start training now. We are going to need a strong defense if we are going to have any chance at all against the Obama team intent on permanent victory over our home team, American Freedom.

You have nothing to complain about if you don’t live in the Stadium Taxation District.
If you’re one of many who feel America is in deep trouble, worrying about your job, how you’ll feed your kids, pay your bills and mortgage/rent, all you have to do is turn on a football game and see we’re not in trouble! All that money for a ticket to watch a team that is paid millions to perform and doesn’t tells me that we should all ignore the economists and msm when they tell us how high unemployment is etc. By the looks of the full house at the game, CO must be doing great! At least Denver.
And then here comes the ballot to raise taxes for our school district that spent over $700,000 last year on a football field. Just a temporary 5 yr tax increase that goes up every year. I say vote no!
Also take a drive up to see the new fire dept…no, you can’t go in to look around silly, it ran out of money! Earlier this year Windsor board bragged about how great we were doing because grocery stores brought in more taxes. Duh! Have you seen the price of food lately? Been creeping up in price since the first recession because of fuel to get the food here…wait, hasn’t fuel gone down and given us a few extra dollars in our pocket at the pump? So if fuel is down, shouldn’t the price of foods go back down at least a little? Or is this what the passing of the Food Authorization Act brought us? Only big stores can compete so all little stores go away and big stores keep on raising prices. Who voted for this destruction? Ask Tom Vilsack. Ask him why we can’t have real foods instead of genetically modified foods that harm us. Ask him why profits for companies like Monsanto are more important than our health.
And now a rumor that one of the big stores here might be closing. Good! Maybe it’ll make room for a real food store. Or maybe just sit empty like so many other buildings here. Greed and gluttony do not make for a good community.
