Senior Breakfasts are back on the first Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m….of course that means October 6^th for our next big one! The Pikes do great things cooking for you and the cost is just $4.00 for all you can put in your little tummies……..some of the choices are pancakes, sausage, biscuits and gravy, eggs, juice, fruit and more…..not all at the same time or in that order, but it is good down home cookin’ and we hope you will join us. No reservations necessary.

SAN ANTONIO in March from the 17^th thru the 25^th is now in the registration process…. Cost……double occupancy $815.00 double occupancy and an additional $240.00 for single occupancy. It will include but is not limited to all transportation, all lodging, 14 meals (8 Breakfasts and 6 dinners), San Antonio Guided Tour, Cruise at the famous River Walk District, Alamo and Imax presentations; the Institute of Texan Cultures, San Antonio Missions and the LBJ Ranch. March is a particularly beautiful time in San Antonio as the flowers are coming into bloom and it is a nice comfortable temperature. Our trip to NYC which will be in April 10 – 20, 2012 for the sights and sounds of World Trade Center, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, Wall Street, Ellis Island and Liberty Island (home of the Statue of Liberty), and much more…..registration will begin September 20^th. Price $1165.00 per person, double occupancy includes the above plus all transportation, lodging, and 18 meals.

Flu Shots will be held here on September 20^th and 27^th and October 18^th in the mornings. Times will be announced as we come closer to those dates.

Please remember that we are still playing Mexican Train Dominos and Bunco on the

2^nd and 4^th Tuesdays respectively immediately following senior lunch. We hope you will consider joining us for these fun activities.

The Medicare Man will not be here until the first Tuesday in October (training sessions you know!) After that he should be in the lobby every Tuesday during senior lunch to help those who have questions regarding their coverage for 2011. Please stop by and see him if that would be YOU!

Daniel Geary will be returning in September for your convenience with his FREE APPRAISELS of your antiques, jewelry, etc. During the regular year, he is here every 3^rd Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. so bring those family treasures you are wondering about.
