Frontier House and Mental Health America will be sponsoring Northern Colorado LEAD Day 2011, this Friday.

Colorado Insurance Commissioner Jim Riesberg will be speaking on health care changes as a result of “Obamacare” this Friday, Oct. 14.

Northern Colorado Legislative Education and Advocacy Day will be providing grass roots training, information and the opportunity to ask questions concerning health care reform. Mayoral candidate Nick True will be present.

The event will be held at the North Range Behavioral Health main center located at 1300 N.17th  Ave. from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The schedule is as follows:

11:30 -12:00  Registration

12:00- 1:00 Lunch with legislators

1:00-3:00  Grass roots training on the legislative process

3:00-4:00 Presentation by Jim Riesberg
