Evelyn Davidson Neave

Evelyn Davidson Neave, 68, of Johnstown, CO died Monday, April 12, 2010 at her home.

Evelyn was born on May 24, 1941 in Dundee, Scotland, UK to William and Jane (Davidson) Alexander. Evelyn grew up and attended schools in Dundee. She was a spool winder at a jute mill and a candy maker. She also worked for Timex Electronics and with several companies in the United States. In 1966 she immigrated to the United States to California and became a US Citizen in the late 1970’s. She moved to Colorado in 2004.

Evelyn was a board member for the Rolling Hills Ranch HOA and did volunteer work at “A Good Hair Day” in Johnstown. She was an avid Neil Diamond fan, enjoyed trips to Blackhawk, bingo and dog racing. She was a happy and friendly person who was very devoted to her husband, family and friends. Evelyn was excited about the pending birth of her first great grandson in July 2010.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Robert “Bob” Neave of Johnstown; daughter, Paula (Brian) Stephen of Milliken, CO; son, Steve (Stacie) Neave, of Johnstown; grandchildren, Ryan (Nikki) Paswaters , Kyle (Laura) Paswaters, of Milliken, Zachary Neave and Samantha Neave of Johnstown. She is also survived by three sisters, Iris (Charles) Quinn, Vina (Gerald) Hendry, Linda (Rab) Balmer; a brother, Peter (Wilma) Alexander; and many special friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Cornerstone Church, 35 South Carlson Blvd., Johnstown, CO
