GREELEY – On Friday, a Weld County District Court Judge sentenced Anthony Mendoza to 15 years in prison after he pled guilty on April 13 to one count of child abuse resulting in serious bodily injuries.

According to police and court records, Mendoza showed up at a hospital with an injured infant on Jan. 12, 2011.

After police conducted an investigation they determined that Mendoza was responsible for the injuries that required the baby to be hospitalized.
