The average price of a gallon of gasoline has fallen 1.5 cents in the past week, bucking a national trend of increasing gas prices, according to gasoline price website FortCollinsGasPrices.com.
Prices averaged $3.45 per gallon in Fort Collins on Sunday. Nationally, prices have increased 4.9 cents per gallon to $3.49.
In Fort Collins, prices are about the same as a year ago: 1 cent per gallon lower. But they are 17.3 cents lower than a month ago. The national average has increased 2.4 cents per gallon during the past month and stands 20.1 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
