Weld Food Bank celebrates 30 year anniversary

GREELEY, September 7, 2012 —  This year marks the 30th year Weld Food Bank has been working to alleviate hunger in Weld County.  In that time, Weld Food Bank has distributed 88 million pounds of food to hungry residents of the county.  To celebrate both the community and their generous community partners, Weld Food Bank will be hosting a 30th Birthday Party.

The 80’s themed party will be held on September 14th in the Weld Food Bank parking lot at 1108 H Street in Greeley.  There will be performances by Colorado Dance Collective and by RETRO (an 80’s tribute band).  Hot dogs, chips, sodas, and snacks will all be available for 30 cents.  The party is open to the public free of charge.
