GREELEY — The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission invites the public to a walking tour of the 10^th Street Corridor on Monday, September 17, 2012, at 5:30 p.m.  Participants will visit some of the properties reflecting the post-World War II development trends in Greeley, particularly the reliance on the automobile.  The tour will begin at the Wilshire Shopping Center Parking Lot, at the southwest corner of 10^th Street and 28^th Avenue.  No reservations are necessary.  Call 350.9222 to check ADA accessibility.  The event is free and open to the public.

The walking tours provide citizens with a chance to hear about and see interesting sites with historical and cultural significance to Greeley.  The remaining walking tour schedule for 2012 is as follows:

September 17  10^th Street Corridor. Starting location: Wilshire Shopping Center parking lot, SW corner of 10^th Street and 28^th Avenue, 5:30 p.m.
