GREELEY — The Greeley Historic Preservation Commission continues the free History Brown Bag Series held on the 4th Thursday of each month that began in February and continues through October. The eighth Brown Bag session will be on Thursday, September 28th, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at 701 7th Street at local artist Susan Herold’s studio, during which Herold will talk about the building history and her work and studio. Call 970.350.9222 about accessibility. Participants are encouraged to bring a sack lunch.
The History Brown Bag Series provides citizens the chance to hear interesting historical topics, primarily focused on Greeley and Weld County, and promotes local cultural heritage.
The History Brown Bag schedule for the remainder of 2012 is as follows:
September 27: Artist Studio in a Historic Building, Susan Herold; this talk will take place at Herold’s studio at 701 7th Street
October 25: Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, Ron Edgerton, Greeley History Museum, 714 8th Street
