In what can only be described as an act of barbarism, Muslim terrorists in Gaza fired a barrage of missiles at Israeli men, women and children during the end of the school day to obtain maximum violence.
The Israeli National News reported that a barrage of missiles was fired from Gaza, which is controlled by the terrorist group Hamas. Over 100 rockets were fired on Sunday and many were timed to strike during the end of the school day in order to kill or maim as large a number of children as possible.
A resident in the town of Be’er named Barbara said the attack came just when the children were walking home and out in the open. “They timed the attack at just the time the kids got out of school..mine too.”
Another Israeli named Gershon from “the capital of the Negev” also said the timing was very specific.
“The rocket attack was at 13:58,” he said, “when all the kids were walking home from school and I was on my way to pick up my daughter. The whole city should keep their children home until the rocket attacks stop.”
Israel is also facing attacks from its neighbor Syria, who has fired mortar shells into the Golan Heights. The attacks prompted an Israeli response by sending s single missile into Syria. A week before Syrian tanks entered into the demilitarized zone on the Golan Heights where they remained there for several hours.
The attacks on Israel places the country in a tenuous situation where it is taking enemy fire from both its northern and southern borders.
Pamela Geller, executive director of the American Freedom Defense Initiative said this was the point she is attempting to make with ads she has posted in New York and Washington D.C. The ads which are on city buses and subways say, “In any war between the civilized man and hte savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel defeat Jihad.”
Islamic groups such as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) which was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism funding case in American history has criticized the ads as “Islamophobic” saying they claim all Muslims are savages.
Geller has said her ads do no such thing and the only way a person could come to that conclusion would be if they believed that all Muslims support Jihad.
“I have never said that all Muslims support Jihad, but the targeting and killing of innocent civilians is a savage act,” Geller said.
Despite attempts by CAIR to have the ads removed, judges have consistently ruled the ads are protected speech. CAIR offered no protests when anti-Semitic ads have ran in the same forums as Geller’s ads.
