In spite of the rhetoric from Congress that the views and actions of the nation’s “leaders” in Washington reflect the opinions of the people they claim to represent, a Rasmussen poll this week found that “Only 11% Say Congress is Good Reflection of Americans’ Views.”
Put in common sense language, the poll results indicate that nearly 9 out of every 10 people in America think Congress is NOT REPRESENTING AMERICANS!
This poll was conducted February 13 and 14, 2013. The question was very straight forward: “Is Congress a good reflection of the views of the American people?”
The results indicate that even with their recent successes, the Democrats are overreaching their permission to govern. Meanwhile, as the November election results clearly indicated, the established insiders controlling the Republican party have lost the support of a nation that continues to hold certain “truths to be self-evident.”
