In his most recent legislative update email, State Senator Kevin Lundberg reports dismal success in stopping the lawlessness and all-out assault on the Constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens. Colorado leftists, hiding under the banner of the democratic party, are celebrating their iron fisted control of all three branches of Colorado government. In this first month of unfettered power the leftists are continuing to set in place punishing Jim Crow style taxes, unconstitutional laws to prevent law-abiding citizens from protecting themselves, and even worse, allow the outright murder of young babies old enough to be identified by sex but clearly not old enough to defend themselves.

The 4 ‘gun control’ bills steaming full speed through the Colorado legislature are borne of hysteria and written in absolute ignorance of history, facts, and the U.S. Constitution. But sacrificing a few more innocent students is exactly what these supporters of tryanny and more state fees want. Yet sacrificing innocent lives isn’t stopping with law-abiding adults and children; even babies are not exempt from this rush to establish a new state order.

Why are these anti-American laws always passed along such strict “party” lines? According to Senator Lundberg’s report, even a bill to stop sex discrimination in abortions died in the Senate Judiciary Committee, the gang of democrats outvoting the minority republicans. This bill addressed those partial birth abortions performed only after the baby is developed enough to determine the sex was not the one the ‘parents’ wanted. Even the abortion rights group, NARAL, opposes these kinds of abortions. Apparently this committee where the ‘civil union’ bill was passed along those same party lines will protect sexual predators and others against sexual orientation discrimination – except babies!

There is a very old description of ‘democracy’ that says; democracy is two coyotes and a rabbit voting on what to have for dinner. I wonder if those babies would like the ‘democracy’ we have here in Colorado these days?

How much more of this insane attack on American values will the citizens of Colorado tolerate before violence erupts? Is violence in defense of freedom exactly what these bullies are hoping will give them the excuse to use the power of armed State enforcement squads to hunt down and kill resistance freedom fighters? Is their attack on the Second Amendment Rights today’s version of King George’s Tea Tax? Will a Denver Tea Party* result in a wholesale revolution against these democrats and leftists?

A 76-year-old widow recently told me she is so afraid of ‘those people.’ She said she is not going to give up her family’s guns without a fight. At 76, she has made peace with God and is willing to die to keep her guns if ‘they’ come to take them away from her. “It’s just not right,” she said, “what those people are doing down there in Denver.”

*The term Tea Party is a reference to the Boston Tea Party and not the modern political movement of conservative Americans.
