Shooter at Arapahoe High School dead on scene

Police have reportedly responded to an “active shooter situation” at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado that has left two injured and one dead.


Colorado’s 9 News is reporting that one of the victims is a 15 or 16 year old who was admitted to a local hospital with gunshot wounds.


The sheriff’s office reported that the shooter appeared at the school with a shotgun and was looking for a teacher. After arriving, the shooter is dead, apparently of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.


The shooting occurred one day before the anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre in Newtown, Conn.
