Virginia A. (Ginger) Wiginton

Virginia A. (Ginger) Wiginton 91, of Windsor passed away on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at the Grey Cara Assisted Living in Evans.

She was born June 17th 1919 to Emich and Mildred Solms in Saginaw, Michigan and spent her childhood there. After her marriage to Elbert Wiginton she moved with her husband to Taylor, Michigan where she lived and raised her family.

After her retirement, Virginia and her husband moved to Zephyrhills, Florida, where they resided until 2005. After the death of her husband and due to her failing health Virginia moved to Windsor Colorado, where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law until 2008 when she became a resident of Grey Cara West Assisted

Living facility in Evans, Colorado.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Emich W. and Mildred Solms, her husband Elbert H. Wiginton, a son Gary W. Wiginton, and one grandson, James E. Wiginton.

Survivors include: two sons, James, and wife (Belinda) Wiginton of Princeton Kentucky and Donald, and wife (Kim) Wiginton of Taylor, Michigan; one daughter, Judith and Husband (Terry) LeCroy of Windsor, Colorado.

Virginia has 11 grandchildren, Suzanne (Bruce) Berner of Loveland, Colorado, Dawn Harvey of Cebolo, Texas,

Carl (Mary) LeCroy of Windsor, Colorado, Georgette (Marty) Uyhazy of Lexington, Kentucky, Donnie (Denise) Wiginton of Taylor, Michigan, Dana (Eric) Reiss of Taylor, Michigan, Derek Wiginton of Taylor, Michigan, Darcie (Chris) Camp Lejune, South Carolina, DeAnn Wiginton of Taylor, Michigan, Angel Wiginton of Arizona & several great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at the Harvest Time Tabernacle Church, 3040 S. 11th Avenue in Evans.  Family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service on Thursday at the church.  Interment will be at a later date in Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.
