Big Thompson Ponds

About 1/4-1/2″ of ice cover on 80% of the ponds.

Boyd Lake

Fished Monday from 8am-1pm. Caught a dozen rainbows north of inlet bay. They were hitting eggs and some power baits. The fishing was great!!! Kept 3 nice fish, returned the rest for another day… ’til next time, Trout Slayer…

Lonetree Reservoir

No ice at all on Lonetree as of 12/4. Water was down substantially – boat ramp completely out of the water.

Lon Hagler Reservoir

Fished for almost two hours, caught lots of stockers; with the crazy wind, spinners kept higher up worked, nothing off the bottom. Left before dark. Still no ice.

Horsetooth Reservoir

Water level slightly rising and the walleye and trout will bite. Clarity is about 6 feet in the south end, a little more up north. South Bay ramp is open 9-1 on weekends. CL
