Free Easter Fun in Greeley

The Family FunPlex celebrates their 5th Anniversary with a Free Community Day on Saturday, April 23 from 11am-8pm. Visitors will be able to workout at the Willie Morton Fitness Center, play games in the Fieldhouse, swim in the Adventure Island Aquatics Center or golf at the River Run Adventure Mini Golf Course. A wristband will be required for swimming and mini golf and can be picked up beginning today at the FunPlex, located at 1501 65th Avenue. (A maximum of 6 wrist bands per family will be dispersed on a first come, first served basis.) Check out all the FunPlex Amenities at www.familyfunplex.com.
Don’t miss the Greeley Jaycees Annual Easter Egg Hunt that day as well at Twin Rivers Ball Field — 9am Sharp! Each field will be broken down by age group (0-12 years). Children will need to provide their own Easter basket.
The Greeley Ice Haus will be hosting a Bunny Hop April 23 from 12-1:30pm. Bring your family and friends and skate with the Easter Bunny for only $3 — price includes skate rental. For more information call 970.350.9402 or visit www.greeleyicehaus.com.
Looking for an activity for the kids to do while they’re out of school on Easter break? The Ice Haus has “No School Public Skate Sessions” on both Friday, April 22 & Monday, April 25 from 12-2:45pm. Admission is only $3 which also includes skate rental. The Greeley Ice Haus is located at 900 8th Avenue in Historic Downtown Greeley.
The following City of Greeley Recreation facilities will be closed on Sunday, April 24 in observance of Easter: Family FunPlex, Greeley Ice Haus, Greeley Recreation Center, Greeley Senior Activity Center and the Rodarte Community Center. Don’t forget there is still time to take advantage of the Buy 2 Months Get 1 Free at the Family FunPlex and Greeley Recreation Center – sale ends April 30 – Memberships are now good at both facilities and include free Miniature Golf!
